Bio

Susan M. Grant, arrived on campus at UCCS after forty years in the legal profession. Susan spent the last eighteen years as a municipal judge and twenty-two years as an attorney in two states. Further, Ms. Grant practiced nursing from a bedside as well as a medico-legal perspective for three years immediately after college.

Ms. Grant has a long-term marriage with a terrific partner and a wonderful daughter and son in-law. In lieu of grandchildren, Susan has four “grand dogs” known as Roscoe, Skye, Trouble and Cookie!

Susan’s interests include reading, lifetime learning, outdoor activities and socializing with friends and family. She is very committed to community betterment and engagement. Community engagement, for Sue, means her work on the Board of Citizen’s Project, Teen Court, the committee for the PTSD Welcome Home Project and the Pikes Peak Military Cares Program.

Ms. Grant currently sits on the KPWE Advisory Board and serves as a mentor.
